State of the Industry
The mental health industry is shifting faster than most clinicians realize, and those changes are landing in the therapy room. This two-hour crash course examines the funding, payer, and delivery trends reshaping behavioral health across private practice, agency, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Participants will leave with a clearer picture of how pharmacology, wearables, and emerging care models are redefining what client-centered practice looks like today and in the years ahead.
Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this program, participants will be able to:
- Identify at least three current funding and payer trends affecting behavioral health service delivery across practice settings.
- Describe the relationship between payers, providers, inpatient care, and outpatient care within the current behavioral health continuum.
- Explain how emerging developments in pharmacology, wearable technology, and implantable devices are influencing client care and clinical practice decisions.
